Resistance & E-Liquid Compatibility Matrix
| Resistance | Best Use | Recommended E-Liquid | Technical Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.4Ω Mesh | Warm RDL / higher output | 70VG/30PG or other higher VG blends | Best for newer higher-output XROS models. Not recommended for older low-power XROS devices. |
| 0.6Ω Mesh | RDL / loose MTL | 50/50 or 70VG/30PG, depending on airflow and power | Good balance between flavour, vapour and warmth. |
| 0.8Ω Mesh | Balanced MTL / light RDL | 50/50 e-liquid or nicotine salts | Most versatile everyday option for flavour and coil life. |
| 1.0Ω Mesh | Smooth MTL | 50/50 e-liquid or nicotine salts | Lower power draw, smoother inhale and efficient liquid use. |
| 1.2Ω Pod | Tight MTL | 50/50 e-liquid or nicotine salts | Best for a tighter, cigarette-style inhale. |
Device Compatibility
Most XROS pods are designed for broad compatibility across the Vaporesso XROS family. The 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, 1.0Ω and 1.2Ω pods are generally suitable for the wider XROS range, while the 0.4Ω pod is intended mainly for newer higher-output XROS models.
- Vaporesso XROS 5 / XROS 5 Mini
- Vaporesso XROS 4 / XROS 4 Mini
- Vaporesso XROS Pro
- Vaporesso XROS 3 / XROS 3 Mini / XROS 3 Nano
- Vaporesso XROS 2 / XROS 2 Mini
- Original Vaporesso XROS
Compatibility note: before choosing 0.4Ω pods, check your XROS device model. This resistance performs best on newer higher-output models rather than older low-power devices.
How to Fill a Vaporesso XROS Pod

Hold the pod securely and snap off the mouthpiece to expose the top-fill port.
Insert the e-liquid bottle nozzle into the fill port and fill slowly. Avoid filling through the central airflow channel.
Reattach the mouthpiece firmly and wait 3–5 minutes before first use so the coil can fully saturate.
Replace the pod when flavour drops, vapour weakens or a burnt taste appears.
Performance Notes
Mesh XROS pods are designed to heat e-liquid evenly for stable flavour and vapour output. Coil lifespan depends on liquid sweetness, puff length, wattage behaviour and how often the pod is used.
For Irish conditions, especially in colder months, thicker high-VG liquids may wick more slowly. If you use higher-resistance pods such as 0.8Ω, 1.0Ω or 1.2Ω, 50/50 e-liquid is usually the safer option for stable wicking.

50/50 e-liquid or nicotine salts are recommended for 0.8Ω, 1.0Ω and 1.2Ω pods. Lower resistance pods such as 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω can handle thicker liquids depending on device power and airflow.
Yes. Vaporesso XROS pods are refillable and use a top-fill structure, depending on pod version.
