In the XR version, the Vaporesso Luxe X comes with two different capsules, one optimized for MTL vaping and the other for RDL. With MTL (mouth to lung), with increased drag resistance, you first inhale the vapor into your mouth and then inhale it into your lungs, just like you are used to with tobacco cigarettes. This is especially preferred by beginners. With RDL (restricted direct lung) you can inhale the vapor directly into your lungs without resisting. The GTX coils on these two pods can be replaced when worn out or replaced with other variants.

The capacity of Vaporesso capsules is 2 ml, which can be filled with selected liquids using the bottom filling system at the bottom of the capsule. Of course, an ergonomically shaped and leak-proof mouthpiece is also included. Thanks to the SSS Leak Resistance technology, the leakage resistance of the sachets has been increased by a total of 90%. Corex technology ensures consistent flavor with up to 50% longer coil life.

The RDL version of the Luxe XR capsule features a 0.4 ohm GTX mesh coil that produces a large amount of vapor. Just the right amount of flavor is conveyed here. Alternatively, the capsule can be equipped with a 0.6 ohm GTX mesh coil that produces a more moderate vapor output with a slight reduction in flavor and consumption. Both the coil variants and the capsule are optimized for RDL vaporization with low drag resistance. With liquid, it is recommended to use standard nicotine in small and medium doses.

The MTL Pod version is equipped with a 0.8 ohm mesh coil, which also provides a particularly intense flavor experience in its class. Here too, the 1.2 Ohm GTX coils offer a softer alternative with less fluid consumption. The coils and capsule are designed with a higher draw resistance to recreate the feeling of pulling vapor into your mouth like a tobacco cigarette. The MTL variant can work with both lighter standard nicotine and nicotine salt liquids with a high dose of nicotine. The MTL version is therefore particularly suitable for people switching to cigarettes, as well as for heavy smokers who initially need a higher dose of nicotine during the switch.

Vaporesso X Pods can also be used with permanently installed coils if required. Here, too, two versions with 0.8 and 0.4 ohms are available. The 0.8 ohm variant is reduced in terms of efficiency and steam generation. Due to the different draw resistances, you can vaporize both MTL and RDL. Simply rotate the capsule 180 degrees while connecting it to the case to try two different drawing resistances.

What is the difference between the Vaporesso Luxe X and the XR capsule set?

Technically, both devices are the same. However, the Luxe X Pod kit comes with pods with built-in coils, while the Luxe XR Pod kit comes with coils inside the pods that are replaceable. Pods with a permanently mounted coil have the advantage of being even more airtight. On the other hand, capsules with replaceable coils offer a wider selection of coils with different power and consumption resistance, and thus an even more individual vaping experience. Since both devices are compatible, the capsule variant can also be changed later.

Is the Vaporesso Luxe X / XR Pod Kit suitable for nicotine salt?

Yes, the devices can vaporize nicotine salts. For nicotine salt, however, we recommend heaters and sachets in the MTL version, with reduced power and vapor efficiency. Nicotine salt liquids tend to have a high dose of nicotine. Combined with a large amount of vapor, nicotine intake is more difficult to dose than with less vapor output. There is an increased risk of overdose, which may cause dizziness, temporary drowsiness or headaches. If you experience these effects, reduce your nicotine dose or vaporizer strength immediately. It is generally recommended to vaporize nicotine salt at a lower strength!

How often should Vaporesso Luxe X / XR coils and pods be replaced?

This question depends on many factors and cannot be answered in a general way. First of all, it depends on how regularly and intensively you use the device. Other factors are the sweetness and freshness of the liquid. The sweeter and fresher the liquid, the faster the coils will wear out. Citrus aromas and freshness also attack plastic elements. Therefore, XR Pods should also be replaced after 1 to 2 months. The heating elements should be replaced at the latest when the flavor development weakens. The second period until then can be anywhere from one week to one month, depending on usage. Always make sure there is enough liquid in the tank, because if the coil runs dry, the cotton inside will burn. Then you will hear a sharp, burnt taste and the coil should be replaced immediately!
