Which coil head is the right one?

Of course, the atomizer head must fit the atomizer or be made for a specific brand of atomizer. Since coil heads are always designed for a certain performance range due to the wire material and the thickness as well as the number of turns, selecting the right coil should usually be easy. The performance range of the coil head is always stated in the product descriptions and is usually engraved directly on the evaporator head. Some e-cigarettes give you the choice and offer coils for both DTL (direct lung inhalation) and MTL (buccal vaping).

MTL or DTL coil heds?

When vaping, a distinction is made between so-called cheek vaping (MTL) and subohm vaping with direct lung pulls (DTL). Both variants require a slightly different draw resistance, which is why most atomizers are designed for either MTL or DTL. Vaping with an MTL vaporizer is similar to smoking a cigarette in terms of the low draw resistance. Direct lung draw (DTL) vaporizers are best compared to a hookah. The draw resistance of most evaporators can be regulated using the so-called airflow control.
